Use the right section#
| Area | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Activity | live queue work, triage, assignments, quick actions, and operating views |
| Operations | action queue, announcements, resource alerts, coverage, connector health, and automation follow-up |
If you are moving work, start in Activity. If the queue looks fine but the day still feels blocked, open Operations.
Activity changes by view#
- each team can get one or more functional views
- the Activity view dropdown switches the queue, widgets, and quick actions
- views can be tied to specific processes, forms, or work patterns
The page is the same. The operating surface changes.
What Operations shows#
The current Operations surface groups the day into:
- Action queue
- Announcements
- Resource alerts
- Overdue assignments
- Upcoming coverage
- Connector issues
If the same operational fix keeps repeating, move from Operations into Processes or Operations > Automation.
Hand work off when the blocker becomes specific#
- Work for one person's assignments, shift, or time off.
- Employees for roster and schedule changes.
- Customers when account cleanup or follow-up is the real issue.
- Documents when the job cannot move without a file or signature request.
- Accounting when the issue becomes collections, cash, reconciliation, or close work.
Daily loop#
- Open Activity on the view that matches the work you are doing.
- Work the live queue and follow the next action surfaces.
- Move the blocker into the section that owns it.
- Open Operations to see whether the delay is really staffing, resource pressure, or a connector problem.
